ATG Knees Over Toes Workouts Overview
The ATG (Athletic Truth Group) Knees Over Toes workout system, developed by Ben Patrick, focuses on enhancing athletic performance, reducing injury risk, and rehabilitating existing knee injuries. The program emphasizes movements where the knees travel beyond the toes, a position traditionally avoided due to concerns over joint stress. However, the ATG philosophy posits that proper training in these positions can strengthen the knees and improve overall lower body mobility.
The ATG program promotes progressive overload and proper form, ensuring exercises are performed safely and effectively. This method has gained popularity for its potential to not only rehabilitate knee issues but also to enhance athletic performance through improved joint health and mobility.
About Me
As a life long athlete I have played Ultimate Frisbee, basketball and beach volleyball. In addition I mountain bike, snowboard and am a member of a CrossFit gym. I want to continue to play! When knee and back pain began to interfere with my ability I researched and discovered the ATG system. Results were astounding. Not only did I work myself out of knee and back pain but my athletic gains enhanced. In sum, my speed and jumping ability improved through stretch and strength training.
